What on earth is brain yoga?

I had never heard of it until a friend emailed me a YouTube link, since he knows I am into self improvement.

Now at first glance this may seem like a ridiculous exercise, however I urge you to keep an open mind.

In some energy healing resources I have read we balance the left and right brain when using our hands to touch the opposite side of the body.

In doing this, we begin healing both physical and mental issues. Mind you, I am not a medical doctor so I can’t verify this from a scientific standpoint. However, there seems to be a few doctors who promote brain yoga to their patients.

I’m going to use it and see what happens. I figure there is nothing to lose except a few minutes and a lot to gain if it really works.

Energy healing has proven to be both a wild and wonderful ride for me as I made my way through some strong negative emotions.

My entire family with the exception of my mother has anger issues. It would be easy to blame my father for passing on intense anger and rage. Fortunately I have learned to take responsibility for my own emotional well-being.

Having the desire to remain under control when feeling anger, I began suppressing the negative feelings. It was a long and difficult struggle and most of the time I was successful. Unfortunately I still endured rare outbursts of anger.
